Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These terms govern the FreeUpMac macOS app and this website, published by Intellara Labs. By downloading the app or buying Pro you agree to them. They are written in English and apply wherever you use the product, including the US, UK, EU, Canada, and Australia.

The free app

You may download FreeUpMac for Apple Silicon or Intel, scan folders on a Mac you are allowed to administer, and inspect the map at no charge. The scan runs on-device. We do not promise that every folder Apple labels System Data or Other will appear as a single block — those labels are Apple’s, not ours.

Pro license

Pro is a one-time $12.99 USD license for the features listed on the pricing page: moving selected items to Trash (Bin on UK-region Macs) and deleting local Time Machine snapshots. Reveal in Finder is included in the free app. It is not a subscription. One license is intended for your Macs; do not publish or resell keys.

Checkout is processed by Dodo Payments. After a successful payment we email a key to the address used at checkout. You can restore it later at /recover.

Refunds

If Pro does not work for you, email hello@freeupmac.com within 15 days of purchase for a full refund. We may ask which Mac and macOS version you used so we can fix real bugs. Consumer rights in your country (including the UK Consumer Rights Act and EU digital-content rules) are not limited by this paragraph.

Your responsibility

You choose what to delete. Review paths in the inspector before you confirm. Deletions go to Trash / Bin when macOS allows it, but you should keep backups of anything you cannot replace. FreeUpMac is provided as-is; we are not liable for lost files beyond what applicable law requires.

Affiliate program

Affiliates who sign up earn 50% of each one-time Pro sale ($12.99 USD), paid monthly by Wise or PayPal after a 15-day refund hold. After 50 clean Pro sales the rate becomes 60%. We do not pay for downloads. We may refuse self-referrals, inactive codes, malware, fake reviews, forced redirects, or download farms, and we may disable a code that breaks these rules.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer the license check to steal Pro, attack freeupmac.com, or use the affiliate program with malware, fake reviews, or forced redirects. We may disable a key that was obtained fraudulently.

Privacy

How we handle email, payments, the affiliate cookie, and optional Google Analytics (only after you accept) is in the Privacy Policy.
